DESCRIPTION:May 26th – September 10th (no water aerobics June 4th and July 2nd) \n\nMeets every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-11:00. Will be canceled if it is raining or the outside temperature is under 60. The water temp is usually around 84 in the morning.\nHave fun\, listen to music\, and get fit with this moderate-intensity\, full-body workout. Using water resistance improves your strength\, mobility\, flexibility\, and endurance while minimizing the impact on the body. \n\n· The water creates a low or no-impact environment\, causing minimal joint stress.\n· Water provides support for the development of balance and core strength\, and enhances flexibility and range of motion in joints.\n· The resistance of water supports overall muscle strength and endurance.\n· The average one-hour water aerobics class will burn 400-500 calories. \n\nEquipment needed: A set of water weights (they look like mini dumbbells and can be bought on Amazon). A pool noodle (you can usually buy them at Safeway).

Led by Jay Hobson\, the club offers a fun\, supportive atmosphere where neighbors can learn\, play\, and grow together. \nOur Club meets every Thursday from 4:00-5:30 p.m.\, playing a weekly selection of songs from all musical categories. \nIf you are new to Ukulele\, or don’t play at all we can guide new players through the fundamentals: tuning\, strumming\, basic chords\, and simple songs.
