Book Club
This month, the Book Club dives into All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker: follows Joseph “Patch” Macauley, a visually impaired teen who saves a girl from abduction in 1975 Missouri, only to be abducted himself, falling in love with the unseen girl, Grace, in the dark, but he escapes and spends decades searching for her, while his best friend Saint investigates the disappearances plaguing their town, uncovering a complex web involving a serial killer, Dr. Tooms, and Chief Nix, leading to shocking revelations about Grace’s fate and their own intertwined traumatic pasts.
For those of you who do not yet have the book, All the Colors of the Dark, Michele Cirkus has obtained about nine copies of the book from the library. If you’d like to borrow one of the books please text her at 973.760.5640. If you choose to borrow the book from Michele please be sure to bring it with you to Book Club as it will be due back at the library the next day. Additionally, we are looking for a few volunteers to choose a book and lead the discussion for the following few months. If you haven’t lead the group for a while or haven’t yet done so we’d love to have you give it a try. Just bring your ideas and a willingness to help out to the next meeting.
